National Park Service Advisory
The U.S. Government was unable to reach an agreement on the national budget, resulting in a partial government shutdown effective at midnight on Monday, September 30, 2013. This shutdown immediately impacts access to America’s National Parks and ARAMARK Parks and Destinations' operations in the Parks. As a result, Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas will be shut down temporarily. We are working with the National Park Service to ensure we have the most current information available related to the closures. Incoming guests that may be impacted have been contacted via telephone or e-mail to reschedule their visits or refund deposits.
To those of you planning a visit to Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, we want to assure you that if a park closure impacts your visit, we will refund any payment for lodging or other services you are unable to use. For questions regarding your upcoming reservation, please call 888-896-3829 and visit our website for continuous updates.
We appreciate your patience and we look forward to seeing you here at Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas!
According to the NPS Contingency Plan, with the government shut down, day visitors to National Parks will be instructed to leave immediately, and entrances will be closed. Overnight visitors will have two days to make alternate arrangements and depart the parks. Owners of personal property within the park will be allowed to access their vessels, however, not for recreational purposes. View the Department of Interior's Contingency Plan for National Park Service.
