CONTEST SUMMARY
PURPOSE:
To encourage youth to learn about and appreciate the historical and cultural aspects of Rainbow Bridge National Monument via their creative expression of the Centennial’s theme: Rainbow Bridge: Spanning Cultures in a Sacred Landscape
CONTEST DATES:
Entries may be submitted between May 1 – October 30, 2009
AGE GROUP CATEGORIES:
Entrants must be in the age group as of October 30, 2009
One entry per person.
Category I - Ages 5-11
Category II - Ages 12-16
MEDIA GUIDELINES:
Art project must be no larger than 8 ½” x 11”. Multi media materials may be used. Photographs will not be accepted as a valid entry.

HOW TO ENTER
Entries must be accompanied by the entry form attached to this contest announcement. Contestants must have the signed consent of their parent or guardian. Entry forms can also be obtained in the following manner:

Entries will be judged by representatives of Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas design staff based on their originality and creative interpretation of the Rainbow Bridge Centennial theme. The winning selections will be made no later than December 1, 2009.
