Welcome Aboard Your Rainbow Bridge Cruise Adventure.Sculpted by wind and water, spanning 275 feet at a height of 290 feet, Rainbow Bridge is quite likely the most photographed geological wonder in the American West. Archeologists believe Native Americans camped here nearly 2,000 years ago. Newspaper articles, a feature in National Geographic, along with visits by President Theodore Roosevelt and western writer Zane Grey helped bring prominence and national monument status to Rainbow Bridge in 1909. Your Rainbow Bridge cruise departs daily from Wahweap Marina. The seasoned crew will give you a descriptive cruise along the way. Time spent at Rainbow Bridge is approximately 1-1/2 hours. A box lunch is provided; vegetarian lunch box available with 24 hour prior notice before departure. Due to the lake level, a 1-mile walk/hike (each way) is required both to and from Rainbow Bridge (total walking distance = 3 miles). We suggest you wear tennis shoes or hiking shoes for the trail. NPS entry fees are not included in tour prices. Welcome aboard Lake Powell’s fleet for memorable cruise adventures to this spectacular location. Advance Rainbow Bridge cruise reservations are recommended. Please check with us regarding seasonal schedules. |
