Non-Managed Houseboat Caretaking Service
Our highly trained staff will inspect your vessel regularly and will determine services, intervals and prices to keep your boat in peak condition. This service is ideal for houseboat owners wanting to maintain their vessel from afar. Each time you arrive, your boat will be clean, fueled up, tuned up and ready for a great Lake Powell boating experience. Pick and choose three or more of our services and we can put a package together for you at reasonable and affordable rate.
Launch Services
Our Dry Storage staff will launch your boat from our storage yard or even pick it up from your RV space. Not showing up until late? Let our Coast Guard Licensed Captains pilot the boat when it is launched from Dry Storage to your overnight rental slip. Need your boat pulled for maintenance, repairs, and service? Have the trailer but not the time? Don’t have the trailer to handle the task? Let Lake Powell Marinas make the arrangements for you. Contact us and we’ll get the process started.
Pilot Service
U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains are available to pilot, tow and even salvage your boat. They can run up lake to deliver fresh supplies or forgotten items. Rely on them to water-taxi you to your boat or an up lake location - and bring you back in comfort and safety. Pilots are available on an hourly basis.
Lake Anchoring
Let us make boating easier and more relaxing than ever. Trust one of our US Coast Guard licensed captains to pilot your boat to an up lake site and beach it on your favorite stretch of sand, where the captain and crew will securely anchor it for you. And when it's time to move on, simply call on one of our pilots and crews to move your boat to another beach or return it to the marina.
Private Tours
Experience the best of Lake Powell with our private tours, where our Coast Guard licensed captains will pilot you to the secret wonders of Lake Powell.
Barge Service
Lake Powell Marinas offer barge service to conveniently transport all of your gear and provisions from the National Park Service Courtesy Docks straight to your boat-whether it's in the buoy field or the marina.
Portering Service
Our dockhands can help you with your luggage—safely bringing it from your car to your boat. We also have golf carts available for anyone needing a convenient ride.
Buoy Cable Install
Buoy cables become worn and unreliable, putting your boat in danger of breaking loose. We have personnel available to replace your old cable with a new one.
Power Pedestal Upgrades
Our experienced electricians at our Marinas can upgrade or change your power pedestal as your requirements change. (We can also make repairs after a boat inadvertently leaves the slip with its power cords still attached-although, of course, that would never happen to you!) Single connection pedestals can easily be exchanged for dual connection pedestals by our experienced electricians. Dock Upgrades
At Lake Powell Marinas, we know that no two boat owners are alike. Therefore, we regularly perform personalized upgrades to our slips, completed by our experienced staff (subject to prior approval by marina management). So bring us your ideas on paper, and we'll review them in detail. Who knows: your plans may well inspire a marina-wide makeover!
Pump Out Boat
Our own pump-out boat will conveniently empty your boat's waste tank at your slip or buoy, saving you both fuel and time. Contact our office to schedule your pump out at your convenience.

Walk-Up Houseboat Servicing and Cleaning
We offer walk-up customers all services based upon availability. We can provide cleaning, fueling, waste pump out, fresh water fill, propane tank exchange and trash removal, along with the mechanical repair and piloting services.
Hourly Rate Schedule - All Marinas
All pricing is per hour with one hour minimum and applicable for both Wahweap and Halls Crossing Marinas. After hours or adverse weather conditions are double time.

Initial Deposit due prior to beginning salvage (Based on Vessel Size & Distance)
- Vessels under 30 feet: $5,000 Deposit
- Vessel over 30 feet: $10,000 Deposit
(An additional 10% fee will be applied for every 5 miles beyond 20 miles from the marina).
Base Rates
Not all rates listed below will be included in the final price. Every salvage will be different depending on the services rendered. (Price is per hour with 1 hour minimum required):
- Barge Time: $500 per hour
- Skilled Labor Time: $300 per hour (Captains, Harbor Maintenance Manager)
- Unskilled Labor Time: $150 per hour
- Dive Time: $300 per hour
- Water Pump Runtime: $150 per hour
- Administrative & Response Fee: $2,000 Flat Fee
- Risk & Hazard Fee: 10% of the total service cost
Special Case Scenarios:
- For complex and unique salvage operations, pricing will be handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the specific requirements of the recovery.
Terms & Conditions
- Based on availability of equipment and/or personnel.
- All hourly rates are per each technician unless otherwise specified.
- Rates do not include applicable sales transaction taxes.
- Valid work order and agreed upon payment terms must be completed prior to rendering of services.
- $2 Environmental Fee will be added to each mechanical work order.
- 4% Energy Surcharge is applicable on all parts.
- Before and after hours premium will be charged at twice the regular rate per hour.
- Rates are subject to change.
