Day 2
Breakfast at Rainbow Room - The award-winning Rainbow Room Restaurant offers a panoramic view of the lake's emerald blue water, the Wahweap Marina, and the beautiful red rock buttes beyond.
Make a Splash - Rent a powerboat for an early morning of exploring canyons and having a picnic on your own secluded beach. You can rent a wakeboard or a set of ski`s to go with it. Or pull back the throttle on your Personal Watercraft and feel your adrenaline race. Whatever your need and whatever your speed, we've got the right boat for you.
Visit the geological marvel of Horseshoe Bend. The overlook of the dramatic bend in the Colorado River will leave you speechless. This is a must for guests staying at Lake Powell Resort!
Fancy some dessert - the Cookie Jar specializes in a variety of ice cream, house-made cookies, and mixology-style crafted sodas You can dine inside or outside while listening to great music.
Day 3
Breakfast at Wind - features shade grown coffee produced on small-scale farms that work in harmony with the environment. Grab a quick bite to go before you board the Rainbow Bridge Cruise.
A Monumental Tour - Your trip to Lake Powell is not complete until you witness first hand the power of wind and water in their role of sculpting the remarkable Rainbow Bridge landscape. Water, lemonade and coffee is served on board the cruise.
Explore the Canyons by Jeep - The mysterious and haunting beauty of Antelope Canyon Jeep Tour, offered by Antelope Slot Canyon Tours and Antelope Canyon Tours, take you to this awe-inspiring sculpture set in stone and is a must for photographers.
The awe-inspiring bend in the Colorado River is approximately 5 miles south of the Carl Hayden Visitor Center on U.S. Hwy 89, just south of highway marker 545, turn west on the dirt road which ascends the small hill. Drive a short distance west of the dirt road and park on the base on the hill. Climb up and down sandy hill.
Return to the Lake Powell Resort - Take a relaxing dip in our pool and get ready for dinner. You can choose from a variety of dining options our Lake Powell Resort has to offer. Be it casual dining at the Wahweap Grille or join us at Rainbow Room as our chef tempts you with entrees ranging from fresh fish to flame-broiled beef and a delightful selection of vegetarian fare. You can socialize at the Driftwood Lounge thereafter and share your adventures of the day with friends and family before calling it a night.
