  • What can I do on my time off?
    • Employees earn regular time off and many spend their time recreating the area. There are ample hiking and camping opportunities around and inside the park. Employees are able to rent boats, paddleboards, and kayaks to spend time on the lake. There are beaches within walking distance of housing.
  • Are there employee activities?
    • Regular employee activities are held and include dinners, game nights, movie nights, recreation trips, and much more! The HR recreation calendar is posted monthly.
  • Is my travel to Lake Powell paid for or is it reimbursable?
    • Travel is not paid for by Aramark. Candidates are responsible for their own transportation to and from Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas.
  • Will I need a car? Is parking available?
    • Parking is available for employees at all locations. Having a vehicle is recommended but not necessary. Shuttles are available around the resort, and Wahweap has a shuttle to and around the city of Page.
  • Is RV parking available?
    • At a low cost, RV spaces are available. Space is based upon availability.
  • What is the application / interview process like?
    • After applying online, applications are reviewed by HR. After the hiring manager reviews your application, you will receive a notification by phone call or email requesting an interview or declining your application. After being extended a job offer, you will receive an email asking you to complete hiring forms. In order to start when expected it is important that these forms are completed in a timely manner, otherwise, your start date will be delayed or offer will be revoked. All positions may require a background check, drug screen, and MVD. After paperwork is completed, Human Resources will reach out to you and confirm your start date. The entire hiring process after an offer is extended will take approximately two-four weeks. Orientations are held on Thursdays, pre-hire orientation held on Wednesday
  • Is transportation paid for?
    • Candidates are responsible for paying their own transportation.
  • Will I need a car?
    • A car is not required. A shuttle is provided around the resort (based on availability.)
  • Where can I go shopping?
    • Wahweap: Page, the nearest city, is 15 minutes away and has a Walmart, grocery store, and several restaurants.
    • Bullfrog: Grand Junction, the nearest city, is 3 hours away. There is a gas station located 15 minutes from Bullfrog, and a small town called Hanksville, located an hour away, which has a small store. A weekly trip is provided by Lake Powell.
  • Are there appearance guidelines?
    • Yes, they vary based upon department and job duties.
  • Is smoking allowed on site?
    • Only in on-site designated areas.
  • Can my significant other / spouse / partner with me in employee housing?
    • At Wahweap, only employees may live in employee housing. If you are both employees you may share housing.
  • What is the cost for housing?
    • Wahweap / Dangling Rope: $125 deposit + $22 - $80 per week, payroll deduction.
    • Bullfrog / Halls Crossing: No cost for housing. Dorm, condo and studio apartment options for full-time employees. At Bullfrog, we have an onsite K12 school for any families with children.
  • Is there internet / cellphone coverage and access?
    • Wi-Fi is provided in the recreation rooms in employee housing. Cellular reception is spotty, but usable. Verizon offers the best coverage.
