Or head out by car to Horseshoe Bend Lookout - an easy 18-minute drive from Lake Powell Resort - and prepare to be mesmerized by views (1,000 feet above the river!) considered to be among the most stunning in the world.

Rent a powerboat for an afternoon of exploring canyons and having a picnic on your own secluded beach. You can rent a wakeboard or a set of ski`s to go with it. From the easy trails of picturesque Navajo Canyon and legendary Rainbow Bridge to the more challenging terrain of Cha Canyon and beautiful West Canyon, this is hiking like you've never experienced before. Just two pieces of advice before you hike these magnificent trails: (1) Take plenty of water and (2) don't forget your camera!

Kayaking is a wonderful way to take in the visual wonders of Lake Powell at your own pace and an ideal way to access some of our best hiking trails in the area. Best of all, it can be enjoyed by everyone. At Lake Powell, the Malibu Two sit-on-top rental kayak is our most popular. Compact, lightweight, stable, and versatile, it can be paddled solo or tandem and has a small area to store small items, such as drinks, lunches, and cameras - a must for getting the most out of your Lake Powell kayaking experience.
