This float trip lets you enjoy all the sights and stops of Glen Canyon in a convenient half-day format. It starts with a two-mile tunnel drive (and dinosaur tracks!) before you board your river craft. It continues to Petroglyph Beach and its fascinating artifacts. You’ll look up in awe at the soaring cliffs above Horseshoe Bend as you learn the stories of the ancestral Puebloan people who lived here. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a stunning motor-coach ride back from Lees Ferry to Page, passing Vermillion Cliffs, beautiful orchards, and historic structures along the way.

See and experience everything the Colorado River has to offer along majestic Glen Canyon in this full-day outing that’s perfect for people of all ages and abilities.

You’ll stop at Petroglyph Beach. You’ll float through Horseshoe Bend. This trip includes all the sights of our Glen Canyon Float Trip. And with a full day to explore, your friendly guide will treat you to special stops and experiences. You may visit natural arches or a bubbling spring. You’ll learn detailed stories about the Desert Archaic culture, with time to explore at every stop. Even your time aboard the raft is leisurely: Your guide will be able to turn off the motor, so you can float in awesome tranquility down the river, as you’re treated to stories and perhaps even a little live music! Afterward, you’ll enjoy a stunning motor-coach ride back from Lees Ferry to Page, passing Vermillion Cliffs, beautiful orchards, and historic structures along the way.

We offer a turkey sandwich for your boxed lunch on the Full Day Float Trips. All box lunches includes a cookie and a bag of chips. If you have dietary restrictions, please email wrafloats@aramark.com, 72 hours in advance, to request a veggie sandwich or salad.

  • From Lake Shore Drive head southwest towards Wahweap Blvd.
  • Turn right onto Wahweap Blvd.
  • Turn left on Lake Shore Dr.
  • Turn left on US-89 South
  • Turn left on South Lake Powell Blvd.
  • Turn right on Kaibab Rd.
